Soil Health Mini Grants

Funded through the Clean Water Indiana grant program.

Hendricks Co. SWCD has partnered with Marion Co. SWCD to offer Soil Health Mini Grants.

The mini grants provide technical and financial assitance for practices that uphold the four principles of soil health:

  • Disturb the soil as little as possible
  • Keep plants grwoing throughout the year to feed the soil life.
  • Maximize plant diversity.
  • Keep the soil covered as much as possible.

Mini grant funds must be implemented on land (<20 acres) in Marion or Hendricks Counties. Recipients will be responsible for 25% match (non-governmental funds only.)
